MANA DIET FOUNDATION Carbohydrates: We are in need of carbohydrates. But not all carbohydrates are created equal; choose your carbohydrates wisely. Protein: We need 50 grams of protein a day from clean sources. Fat: Fruit tree oils, rather then vegetable oil, and never hydrogenated or trans fats. Fat is for your nerves. Glycemic Index: Is a numerical system of measuring how fast a carbohydrate triggers a rise in circulating blood sugar; the higher the number, the faster the blood sugar goes up. Bioactive ezyme: (Mana MagicJ): Captain Cook discovered the health benefits of well pre-chewed meals. What the Captain did not know was the source of very powerful enzymes. Antioxidants: Help you to fight the free radicals as in our Berry X™. Save your brain: It has been said in China, "it is better to drink green tea than take medicine". Veggie Fillet: Alternative protein made with the protein of garden peas. Ocean salt: With 82 minerals in perfect balance as nature indented. Mana Diet Oat Bran Fiber: The healing power of oat, only without the carbs. It lowers your cholesterol and blood sugar. Vitamins: Take them as nature has made them in combination with other foods with high nutritional value, such as fresh fruits and vegetables. Minerals: Your body is made up of five percent minerals (10 pounds for a 200 pound person). Chlorophyll: Helps you maintain high oxygen levels in your body. Saturate your body with oxygen using chlorophyll, as is found in spinach. Carotenoid: Has many health benefits. It has antioxidants which help enhance immune system function and inhibit the development of certain types of cancers. This is why we add green leaf vegetables and carrots to our Mana Fiber. To keep things moving along: fresh vegetable with a high roughage level, as it is found in celery and oat bran and pea fiber. Water: African marathon runners are consuming fruits, vegetables, hardly any meat, and very little water. Relieve yourself from water- clogged cells; get rid of the water by consuming Nature's best water pump: parsley. NOW LET'S PUT IT ALL TOGETHER. In chef lingo, (Le Repertoire de la Cuisine, a cooking guide for the chefs of the old fine and tasteful cooking), everything is based on a few basic recipes, like mayonnaise, for example. By just adding different herbs, spices, or vegetables, you can make hundreds of different dishes. For the first seven days we will prepare a soup and drinks mainly from parsley, celery, and spinach. By adding different flavors, spices, and other vegetables to the main ingredients, we have a different soup every day. Note: Remember this soup is your vitamin and mineral supplier and it will clean out your intestines just like a chimney sweep. Roughage is your sweeper to take toxic wastes out of your body. A puree-like soup, full of cellulose and with lots of fiber, gets the body cleaning done. Now the fun can begin as you make different variations! You can prepare the soup many ways. I believe variety is the spice of life and enjoyment of food is a big part of it. Enjoy as much of the Mana soup for lunch and dinner as you like, and don't forget it is medicine in your bowl. Take it to work, drink it instead of the FDA approved soft drinks. Use the Mana soup as a base for a salsa and most of all – enjoy.
