BEING A VEGETARIAN Religious or idealistic reasons may be enough for many, but I am a Catholic Vegetarian I sin from time to time. I just don't want on a daily base ingest all the antibiotics and female hormones that come with eating FDA approved meat! Last September, I had volunteered to participate at a study conducted by the University of Hawaii. It presumption was that a high consumption of soy protein would prevent prostate cancer because of the high concentration of female hormones found in soy beans. It should reduce the development of male prostate cancer. Guess what?  I was diagnosed with in May 2005 I was diagnosed with the female breast cancer. I went on a strict vegetarian diet and consumed as many antioxidants as possible drinking Mana Diet Blueberry and Pineapple Booster with over 5000 Orac, and I am happy to report at test number eight in September 2006, I was diagnosed cancer free.
